Infrastructure Support Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class support investigating and resolving technical and business issues
• Rapidly identify and resolve business impacting issues
• Manage long-term projects and address time-sensitive, critical problems
• Provide direct, hands-on support to trading desks on a daily basis
• Help define technology requirements for other teams across the firm

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure Support or Systems Infrastructure Support operations
• Experience with Microsoft Windows administration and Office support
• Experience with Linux desktop administration and support
• Experience with data center physical and logistical operations
• Experience supporting applications, process monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Experience with ticket workflow and asset management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Flexibility with on-call and weekend infrastructure change efforts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
• Exposure to cybersecurity principles and best practices
