Infrastructure Support Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting IT infrastructure components, including servers, operating systems, storage, and basic networking
• Perform routine system checks, monitoring, and housekeeping activities under supervision
• Support basic provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure resources
• Assist in handling incidents and service requests related to infrastructure issues
• Help update knowledge articles, SOPs, and runbooks
• Participate in structured training, mentoring, and on-the-job learning programs
• Adhere to security, access control, and compliance guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology
• Basic understanding of Windows or Linux operating systems
• Basic networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS)
• Understanding of server and data center concepts
• Awareness of storage and virtualization concepts
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift rotation or rotational schedule

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, apprenticeship, or academic project experience related to IT infrastructure support
• Experience in systems or network administration
• Experience in IT operations or data center environments
