Infrastructure Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise infrastructure personnel and contractors in the safe execution of daily work activities
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities with associated pump
• Liaise with Engineering departments for design coordination
• Plan, schedule and coordinate maintenance and construction works across site infrastructure
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture through visible leadership and compliance with the site’s Safety and Health Management System (SHMS)
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with SOPs, SWIs, permits and legislative requirements
• Coordinate labour, equipment and materials to achieve planned work outcomes
• Monitor work quality, productivity and budget performance
• Liaise effectively with operational departments, maintenance teams and contractors to minimise disruption to production
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions where required
• Mentor, coach and develop team members to build capability and improve performance

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience supervising work crews within an open-cut coal mining environment
• Background in Civil and infrastructure projects is desirable
• Relevant competencies including Backhoes (RIIMPO301E), Excavator (RIIMPO320F) and Grader (RIIMPO324F) tickets are advantageous
• Strong understanding of Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health legislation
• Strong communication skills
• Supervisor qualifications applicable to Queensland coal mining highly regarded
• Current C Class drivers’ licence
