Infrastructure Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop and adopt next-generation infrastructure tooling for Etched ASIC, Software, and Platform engineers
• Work on hybrid-cloud HPC clusters and massively parallel CI executions
• Build Infrastructure-as-code and scale-out observability platforms with LLM integration
• Create high-quality internal tools that improve iteration speed and reliability

Requirements

• Progress towards a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust
• Proficiency in Python (for systems software focus)
• Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
• Strong understanding of low-level software engineering and hardware/software co-design
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Linux internals, kernel development, or driver debugging
• Experience with hardware diagnostics or interpreting hardware logs
• Exposure to server virtualization or CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Rust or embedded development
