Infrastructure Engineer with Cybersecurity Experience

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security incidents to ensure early detection, analysis, and mitigation of threats.
• Coordinate containment and remediation actions with internal client teams and the SOC.
• Remediate incidents by managing security platform rules in coordination with the client.
• Manage security awareness campaigns and phishing simulations.
• Provide support for existing IT infrastructure requests and incidents, including switches, APs, and VPNs.
• Execute maintenance windows and provide technical support outside regular hours during critical contingencies or security events.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Informatics, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity and enterprise networks.
• Fortinet NSE 4 certification (Secure Networking and Security Operations).
• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar certification.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies including FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer.
• Experience with EDR/XDR/NDR solutions (e.g., Cortex, FortiEDR, Lumu).
• Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Central) and Identity Services (Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID).
• Experience managing security events in Azure cloud environments.
• Familiarity with NAC solutions, application firewalls, and network monitoring tools like Nagios.
