Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of infrastructure architectures
• Identify and evaluate alternative architectures regarding cost, performance, and scalability
• Document architecturally significant decisions
• Support projects and change initiatives through technical plans and design principles
• Align solutions with enterprise and solution architecture standards, including security
• Elicit and document detailed requirements using agreed standards and techniques
• Review requirements for errors and omissions
• Ensure projects follow agreed architectures, standards, methods, and tools while addressing security and privacy

Requirements

• Experience in distributed technical environments and modern platform delivery
• Proficiency with cloud platforms and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployment models
• Knowledge of networking, secure connectivity, and infrastructure constraints
• Experience with DevOps tooling and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab
• Experience with infrastructure automation
• Experience in site and deployment engineering
• Experience in lab and simulation environment support
• Experience in tool administration and engineering support for MBSE
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in a technical subject with substantial IT content
• 3 years of post-related experience (or 5 years of extensive progressive experience in lieu of a degree)
• Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in an international environment with military and civilian elements
• Knowledge of NATO organization, internal structure, and relationships
