Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and document network architecture, including ISPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and surge protection
• Define hardware architecture for access control, intercoms, cameras, environmental sensors, and IoT devices
• Establish infrastructure standards, configurations, and security best practices
• Lead technical planning and validate feasibility, capacity, and scalability
• Specify hardware and software requirements for procurement and vendor selection
• Provide technical direction during implementation and resolve complex technical issues
• Oversee application infrastructure integrations
• Own system-level troubleshooting, escalation, and long-term reliability
• Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and as-built configurations

Requirements

• Strong background in network architecture (firewalls, routing, switching, VLANs)
• Experience with physical security systems and IoT infrastructure
• Understanding of cloud-connected and hybrid infrastructure models
• Ability to design secure, fault-tolerant systems
• Experience working with vendors, procurement teams, and implementation engineers
• Excellent documentation and technical communication skills
