Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT environments through monitoring, automation, and regular patching
• Manage physical hardware and virtualized/cloud infrastructure, including AWS and Azure, to enable business continuity
• Install, configure, and update physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux), storage systems, and networks
• Utilize scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (DevOps) to automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration management
• Implement security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and patching schedules to protect data and infrastructure
• Establish and manage backup, redundancy, and disaster recovery procedures, including performing restorations
• Act as an escalation point to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues
• Proactively monitor and optimize network and system performance through capacity planning and trend analysis
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure architecture, configurations, SOPs, and incident resolutions

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computers or Networking
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification
• Certified Data Center Professional certification
• Cloud Solutions Certification (Microsoft or AWS)
