Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Implement and optimize network infrastructure for proprietary low latency trading applications across global data centers
• Identify technical challenges and conduct advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex network issues
• Take an automated, data-driven approach to diagnosing and solving infrastructure problems
• Utilize monitoring tools to locate, diagnose, and resolve network-related issues
• Communicate the impact of network issues to traders, developers, and other business stakeholders
• Support and troubleshoot a hybrid wireless and wired high-performance network environment
• Leverage automation and a "DevOps" approach to improve network management and maintenance efficiency
• Document new processes and procedures to improve overall team efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on networking experience
• CCNP certification or equivalent professional certification
• Advanced knowledge of IP networking and TCP/IP troubleshooting
• Deep understanding of Switching, Routing (BGP), and Multicast (IGMP, PIM)
• Proficiency in Linux Administration and scripting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a global team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
