Infrastructure Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to improve large-scale data systems and ensure end-to-end application monitoring.
• Resolve complex technical nuances and determine appropriate escalation paths.
• Execute technical approaches to build or troubleshoot complex problems.
• Drive daily activities supporting standard capacity process applications.
• Partner with application and infrastructure teams to identify potential capacity risks and govern remediation.
• Make significant technical decisions for projects involving multiple technologies and applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of applied experience in infrastructure engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in installation, migration, and decommissioning of F5 Load balancing technologies (GTM, LTM, ASM, APM, AFM).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing/switching) and firewall products.
• Proficiency in software development or scripting using Python or Unix.
• Experience operating in and migrating across both public and private cloud technologies.
• Ability to work in a mission-critical 24x7 environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• F5 certifications.
• Experience with forward or reverse proxy technologies.
• Flexibility to work off-hours, weekends, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
