Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security incidents using primary platforms to ensure early detection and mitigation
• Coordinate containment and remediation actions with internal client teams and the SOC
• Remediate incidents by operating security platform rules in coordination with the client
• Manage awareness campaigns and phishing simulations
• Support infrastructure requests and incidents involving switches, APs, and VPNs
• Execute maintenance windows and provide technical support outside regular hours for critical contingencies
• Perform other assigned cybersecurity-related strategic and operational activities

Requirements

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Informatics, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in cybersecurity and enterprise networks
• Experience with Fortinet technologies
• Fortinet NSE 4 certification (Secure Networking and Security Operations)
• CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar certification
• Proficiency with FortiGate, FortiManager, and FortiAnalyzer
• Experience with EDR/XDR/NDR solutions (Cortex, FortiEDR, Lumu, or similar)
• Experience with FortiEMS and MDM platforms (Endpoint Central, Microsoft Intune, or similar)
• Experience with Identity Services (FortiAuthenticator, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory)
• Experience with Application Firewalls (FortiWEB or similar)
• Experience with FortiSwitch and FortiAP
• Knowledge of KnowBe4, NAC solutions (FortiNAC), and Nagios monitoring
• Experience managing security events in Azure cloud environments
