Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, optimize, implement, and maintain computer infrastructure within a highly secure PC manufacturing environment
• Develop and manage infrastructure for end-to-end software installation processes, including tools and systems development
• Create test plans for tools and systems used in the Image Load process
• Provide technical support for software installation, hard drive duplication, connectivity, and infrastructure issues
• Define metrics to optimize results and implement continuous improvements
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve security system vulnerabilities, attacks, and threats
• Analyze security incidents and develop appropriate countermeasures
• Develop and maintain security solutions in compliance with NIST standards
• Ensure all system maintenance and support processes are thoroughly documented

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related IT field
• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry working with Network, database (SQL), and OS (Windows Server) technologies
• Strong expertise in data networking design, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting for large-scale infrastructure
• Proficiency in PowerShell and working experience with Python, C++, or C#
• Experience with SQL and Windows Server environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
• Proven experience in designing, enforcing, or reviewing corporate-level Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)

Preferred Qualifications

• MS Certifications on Windows
• Network and Security certifications such as CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP, or GIAC
• Experience with version control (Git) and script orchestration (Task Scheduler, CI jobs)
• Experience working with REST APIs (JSON, GET/POST)
• Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience in factory, manufacturing, or platform engineering environments
• Knowledge of NIST Special Publications and FIPS Publications
