Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, optimize, and maintain computer infrastructure within a secure PC manufacturing environment
• Develop and manage infrastructure for end-to-end software installation processes, including tools and systems development
• Create and execute test plans for tools and systems used in the Image Load process
• Provide technical support for software installation, hard drive duplication, connectivity, and infrastructure issues
• Identify, evaluate, and resolve security system vulnerabilities, attacks, and threats
• Develop and maintain security solutions in compliance with NIST standards
• Define metrics to optimize results and implement continuous improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related IT field
• 5+ years of IT industry experience working with Network, SQL (2017+), and Windows Server (2019+) technologies
• Strong expertise in data networking design, setup, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in PowerShell and working experience with Python, C++, or C#
• Experience with version control (Git) and script orchestration (Task Scheduler, CI jobs)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Network and Security certifications such as CCNP Security, CEH, CISSP, or GIAC
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible) and REST APIs
• Knowledge of container platforms, orchestration frameworks, or message queues
• Experience in factory, manufacturing, or platform engineering environments
• Familiarity with NIST Special Publications and FIPS Publications
