About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of AWS-based infrastructure for enterprise-scale applications
- Own Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure repeatable and secure deployments
- Drive infrastructure scalability, resiliency, and high availability through multi-AZ and fault-tolerant architectures
- Optimize system performance, capacity, and cost while resolving infrastructure bottlenecks
- Act as a technical lead and mentor to set engineering standards and best practices
- Partner with application, DevOps, security, and data teams to align architecture with enterprise goals
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and reliability in line with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure design, engineering, and operations
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including VPC, EC2, EKS, RDS/Aurora, and IAM
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools
- 3+ years of experience with cloud networking and network management
- 3+ years of experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
- 3+ years of experience with distributed systems such as Kafka, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
- 3+ years of experience in infrastructure security, including encryption and secure network design
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation

- Prior experience in a technical lead or senior engineering role
