Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper functioning and evolution of existing IT infrastructures
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions for operating sites
• Implement and maintain robust IT security protocols and network systems
• Work in close cooperation with system administrators
• Build and maintain professional relationships within the operational team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, computer engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• 3–5 years of experience managing complex IT infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with Networking: Firewalls, switches, NAC, routing, VLANs, and iSCSI
• Proficiency in Systems administration: Windows and Linux
• Experience with Storage solutions: SAN, ZFS, Samba, and backup systems
• Expertise in Virtualisation: VMware ESXi and Hyper-V
• Knowledge of Security: VPNs (OpenVPN, IPsec), access control, and endpoint protection
• Experience with Cloud & Identity: Active Directory, Azure AD, and SSO
• Familiarity with compliance standards: ITIL, NIST, and ISO 27001

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and centralized logging tools such as Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
• Proven ability to apply security-by-design principles and ensure GDPR compliance
