Infrastructure Engineer

About the Company

Eisen is the first account offboarding platform for financial institutions. We handle escheatment, disbursement, and customer outreach for banks and fintechs, helping them close the loop on inactive accounts and return money to customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a testing harness from the ground up
• Design automation layers across unit, integration, and E2E testing
• Own CI/CD quality gates in GitHub Actions
• Build performance and load testing infrastructure
• Manage test data to ensure reproducibility across environments
• Design testing around PII handling, encryption, and audit trails
• Maintain SOC 2 compliance through automated quality gates
• Define release certification and track deployment metrics like rollback and failure rates
• Participate in architecture reviews to flag reliability risks

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience in infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or SRE
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
• Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g., k6, Artillery, Locust)
• Understanding of distributed systems and failure modes
• Experience working in fintech, banking, or regulated environments
• Ability to work independently to build a new function from scratch

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, or Snowflake in production
• Background in data pipeline testing or ETL validation
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
• Experience with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright
