Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the US Platform Infrastructure team to ensure global alignment and coordinate infrastructure enhancements
• Maintain, design, and troubleshoot trading networks, including multicast market data and cloud-based market data
• Optimize hardware, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure for maximum performance
• Build and optimize infrastructure using declarative frameworks like Terraform and Ansible
• Manage infrastructure including AWS, Kubernetes, Git, TeamCity, Concourse, and GitHub Actions
• Support storage requirements on NFS, CIFS, and S3 compatible systems in Linux environments
• Support highly available database architectures and ensure systems are secure through regular patching

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting mission-critical, high-performance trading infrastructure
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in Kubernetes
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana
• Strong Python experience
• Experience maintaining and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure
• Experience with database and database infrastructure support
• Strong Linux platform support experience
• Working knowledge of TLS
• Knowledge of network protocols including multicast and WebSockets
• Experience using Ansible and Terraform
• Ability to provide off-hours support as needed
