Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build systems on virtual machine instances through manual and automated means in AWS and on-premise environments
• Apply required cybersecurity controls and configure cloud resources for compliance
• Support testing of cloud-hosted virtualized systems
• Develop automation code using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or Bash for Windows and Linux servers
• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot automated CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot issues with VM instances, cloud configurations, and automation pipelines
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement AppTX requirements
• Adhere to source code configuration control processes using Git
• Develop infrastructure-as-code to apply cybersecurity controls

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master’s with 7+ years (certifications/experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
• 1+ years of experience in software development and/or DevOps/DevSecOps environments
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD Approved Baseline Certification (IAT Level II)
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and/or PowerShell
• Experience with Git-based source code management (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket)
• Familiarity with Terraform, AWS (Console and CLI), and Linux operating systems
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• US Citizenship and a Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Command and Control (C2) application installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity controls, scans, and remediation
