Responsibilities
- Shape infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
- Build and improve end-to-end CI/CD pipelines
- Write production backend code and core server-side systems
- Create production-grade patterns for deployments, jobs, and workers
- Improve local developer workflows and internal tooling
- Strengthen security and compliance in a HIPAA-regulated environment
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in backend or infrastructure engineering
- Proficiency in a strongly-typed or compiled language (Go, Rust, Java, TypeScript, etc.)
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with containerized environments and Docker
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or CircleCI
- Kubernetes experience
- Experience with TypeScript/Node.js
- Experience working in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2)
