Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Developer & PostgreSQL

Responsibilities

• Join the Database Product Agile POD to develop and improve database infrastructure services, specifically focusing on PostgreSQL and Azure Cloud.
• Provide efficient and easy-to-consume infrastructure services using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud capabilities.
• Apply engineering practices including requirement analysis, automation by design, automated testing, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ensure solution quality, security, reliability, and compliance by implementing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Build observability into solutions, monitor production health, resolve incidents, and perform root cause analysis for risks and issues.
• Evaluate new technologies and optimize workflows to ensure long-term sustainability and technical excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Azure Cloud Development, PostgreSQL Database development, or an equivalent field.
• 7+ years of experience as an infrastructure engineer with a focus on Database technology and Azure Cloud Development.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and Automation Frameworks.
• Expertise in PowerShell, Azure Shell, and Bash.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development using Terraform or ARM.
• Proficiency in a development language such as Python or C#.
• Strong communication skills, including technical writing and the ability to explain complex technology to non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within the finance sector.
• Proven experience leading a group of infrastructure engineers.
• Strong problem statement analysis and solution design thinking skills.
