Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide production and technical leadership for all phases of livestream event support
• Perform core technical duties to maintain active infrastructure, new deployments, and auxiliary technologies
• Develop and execute detailed test plans for new technology implementations
• Troubleshoot event and platform issues, including capacity, availability, and server configurations
• Plan and support live events as a streaming operator and provide technical oversight for origination locations
• Contribute to technical designs, implementation plans, and documentation records
• Optimize Content Delivery Network (CDN) availability and assist in developing equipment standards

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience operating live and/or broadcast events
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology, a related field, or equivalent experience
• Expert knowledge of AV fundamentals, including audio signal path, routing, AVoIP, and NDI
• Experience managing enterprise streaming platforms, videoconferencing, and virtual event tools
• Knowledge of network, server, and information security fundamentals
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or iMovie
• Ability to remain calm and think quickly in high-pressure, live production situations
