Infrastructure Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop facility electrical equipment requirements and guidelines for building systems including electrical infrastructure, backup power, and energy management systems
• Assist in the design and development of building electrical systems
• Interface with engineers, scientists, and technicians to obtain facility electrical inputs
• Work with the Infrastructure Design Team to ensure systems are documented for permitting, construction, commissioning, and operations
• Develop electrical equipment commissioning, maintenance, and operations plans
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and future upgrades of building electrical systems

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in design, construction, facility operations, or commissioning for industrial, manufacturing, or research facilities
• Experience with medium and low voltage AC systems and high voltage DC systems
• Knowledge of NEC and NFPA 70E
• Hands-on experience with industrial or research facility commissioning and operations
• Strong multidisciplinary program management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PE license
• Experience working in a startup environment
• Experience in fusion, energy, aerospace, or chemical industries
