Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Windows and Linux-based systems
• Maintain virtualization platforms for back office and broadcast
• Support and build enterprise and broadcast databases
• Manage and support backend storage systems
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and Packer
• Develop automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency
• Design and maintain production-grade cloud systems
• Provide 24/7 business continuity support including nights, weekends, and on-call

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience with Windows and Linux administration
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell or Bash
• Familiarity with Go, Python, or other automation languages
• Strong knowledge of Git, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, and GitHub Actions
• Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware, Azure Local, or Hyper-V
• Experience administrating major clouds (GCP or Azure preferred)
• Experience with storage platforms such as Qumulo or PureStorage
• Experience with database systems like Azure SQL MI, MS SQL, or Postgres
• Understanding of video/audio workflows in a broadcast facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Technical Communications, Broadcast IT, or equivalent experience
• Experience building cloud-based broadcast systems
• Experience with HRIS systems like UKG or Workday
