About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed data requirements including source to target mappings and business transformation rules
- Perform data profiling and analysis using automated tools
- Make qualitative and quantitative assessments of data
- Utilize SQL to extract data for analysis
- Develop logical and conceptual database designs for transactional systems, data warehouses, and data marts
- Understand data flow methodologies within and between technology systems and business functions
Requirements
- 10+ years in Statistical or Numerical analysis with large volumes of data
- 10+ years in relational databases and SQL
- 5+ years in performing business analysis and research
- Expertise in relational dimensional modeling
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as Microstrategy, SAS, or Cognos
- Analytical thinking with high accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ETL tools like Datastage or Informatica
