Infrastructure Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work with technical architects to implement and deploy leading edge technologies
• Gain SME expertise in large managed service platforms
• Take ownership of infrastructure and platform issues within a dedicated team
• Proactively transfer product skills and knowledge to customers
• Address customer business requirements with effective technical solutions
• Estimate effort required for delivery and manage customer expectations
• Collaborate with teams to migrate legacy environments

Requirements

• Experience with VMware ESXi server platforms
• Experience with Blade Server (Synergy) hardware and datacenter management
• Experience with Azure platforms
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting SAN solutions (notably HPE)
• Experience with backup services such as Veeam
• Experience installing and configuring Windows Server platforms
• Sound knowledge of general networking principles and TCP/IP
• Knowledge of formal project management and service delivery best practices
• Strong communication skills and ability to write clear documentation
