Infrastructure Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work with technical architects to implement and deploy leading-edge technologies for large managed service customers.
• Install, maintain, and configure enterprise-scale infrastructure, including servers, storage, and software.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and integration problems within a large, dedicated team environment.
• Proactively transfer product skills and knowledge to customers during project engagements.
• Address customer business requirements with effective technical solutions and manage expectations regarding effort and delivery.
• Assist with the migration of legacy environments to modern platforms.

Requirements

• Proven experience with VMware ESXi server platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting SAN solutions, specifically HPE.
• Proficiency with backup services, notably Veeam.
• Experience installing and configuring Windows Server platforms.
• Strong knowledge of general networking principles and TCP/IP.
• Experience with Blade Server (Synergy) hardware and management in a Datacentre environment.
• Knowledge of formal project management and service delivery best practice procedures.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear documentation and relate to non-technical audiences.
