Infrastructure Cloud Engineer (AWS DevOps Engineer)

Responsibilities

• Manage application lifecycle, configuration, and build/release processes for clinical applications
• Develop and enhance Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Deploy applications on AWS and hybrid cloud platforms
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one week every four weeks
• Support the Clinical LIMS L3 Support Team and provide operational support to agile teams
• Plan and operate observability platforms for the Clinical LIMS IT stack
• Maintain technical documentation and DevOps guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• AWS Certification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or cloud migration (AWS)
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS
• Experience with Terraform, Azure DevOps, or Octopus Deploy
• Knowledge of scripting in PowerShell or Bash
• Experience with Oracle DB, Postgres, or RDS PaaS
• Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with on-prem infrastructure and networking
• Knowledge of SD-WAN (Velocloud), Checkpoint, and Cisco Firewalls
• Experience with configuration management tools like BMC Helix/CMDB
