Infrastructure Architect

Responsibilities

• Design and execute the technical strategy for integrating the Epistemix platform into client environments
• Leverage Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker across client environments, focusing on AWS and data connections like Snowflake and Databricks
• Interface with client IT organizations to provide architectural guidance during implementation
• Ensure deployment methods meet rigorous standards including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA
• Manage deployments in public cloud (AWS/GCP), private cloud, and on-premises environments
• Develop custom automation tooling using Python to streamline deployment and integrate with identity and access management

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience with 3+ years of architectural implementation experience
• Expert level experience in Python, FastAPI, and/or Django
• Proficiency with Terraform
• Experience with AWS infrastructure
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or Public Health
• Experience managing organizational compliance programs (HIPAA, SOC 2)
• Experience with data warehouse integrations (Snowflake, Databricks)
• Experience supporting deployments in on-premise or private cloud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Architectural mastery of GCP
• Familiarity with distributed computing libraries (Ray, Modin, Pandas)
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Experience leveraging generative AI tools in engineering workflows
