Infotainment System Head Unit Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) systems and connected car technologies to realize Software Defined Vehicles (SDV).
• Lead the design of vehicle system architectures, from requirement definition to implementation and real-vehicle application.
• Manage large-scale projects involving hundreds of participants, coordinating with internal departments and Tier 1 suppliers.
• Drive technical selection and development planning for Linux/Android S/W platforms and scalable H/W platforms.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams in North America, Europe, and China to lead technical and project development.

Requirements

• Experience in electronic component hardware (H/W) and software (S/W) design.
• Proven project management experience.
• Experience in team leadership roles.
• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English.
• TOEIC score of 550 or higher.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive industry (OEM or supplier).
• Knowledge of automotive electronic systems, such as vehicle networks, power control, vehicle system control, or ECU design/development.
• TOEIC score of 650 or higher.
