Information Technology Support Generalist

Responsibilities

• Manage IT help desk operations and resolve support tickets
• Lead IT onboarding and offboarding processes
• Provide hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting for end users
• Handle hardware provisioning including Autopilot deployments and asset tracking
• Monitor and maintain Windows OS, Office 365, and Mac/Linux systems
• Administer user and group accounts in Active Directory and Entra ID
• Create and maintain IT documentation and change management logs
• Purchase and provision IT software
• Utilize AI tools for troubleshooting and support assistance

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
• Post-secondary education in a computer-related field or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Office 365
• Working knowledge of Linux systems (Ubuntu, Red Hat) and command-line administration
• Experience with IT ticketing systems and hardware provisioning
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to obtain security clearance (e.g., Secret Clearance) for Canadian and US government contracts
• Ability to work onsite in Kanata 4/5 days per week
