Information Technology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain local and wide area network infrastructure including hubs, modems, switches, and routers
• Utilize network management tools to maintain network health and performance
• Maintain network circuitry technologies such as frame relay, broadband, and satellite
• Manage enterprise wiring infrastructure including fiber, UTP, wireless, and network racks
• Maintain virtual private network (VPN) infrastructure
• Isolate and resolve network-related service calls and problems
• Maintain Networking Services documentation
• Serve as primary liaison between IT service providers for customization needs
• Research new products and manage internal Network Services projects
• Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting, configuring, and installing network infrastructure
• Conduct risk analysis for technology and infrastructure decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
• Minimum of three years of experience in networking technologies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
