Information Technology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide IT and Audio/Visual (A/V) expertise to support Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC) within SCIF and SAPF environments.
• Support, manage, and administer A/V system operations, including multimedia controls and broadcast services.
• Perform enterprise-level network maintenance on physical and virtual servers, workstations, switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Manage Active Directory users, including permissions, password resets, and mailbox maintenance.
• Maintain oversight of local SCI networks, VOIP, and VTC assets, including circuit troubleshooting and repair across JWICS Tier 1 nodes.
• Optimize and maintain all A/V equipment, including system programming, life-cycle management, and video I/O services.
• Manage VTC schedules, equipment patching, STIG compliance, and provide training to Marines and civilians.

Requirements

• 5+ years of direct experience in IT and A/V support functions.
• Active Top-Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility (US Citizenship required).
• Completed DoD 8570 Requirements for IAT Level II certification.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security certification.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco codecs and desktop VTC.
• Experience using Crestron A/V technologies.
• Familiarity with DoD/IC Voice/Video technologies and integration methods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of IT/AV support experience.
• 2+ years of experience at Combatant Command or Service Component Command Headquarters.
• 3+ years of INDOPACOM theater experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DoD IT security regulations, physical security, and information security procedures.
