Information Technology Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced first and second-level technical support for hardware, software, printers, and network issues
• Manage and administer user accounts, email accounts, and system access permissions
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, IP phones, servers, and other IT infrastructure
• Support and troubleshoot hotel-specific applications, including PMS and POS systems
• Monitor network infrastructure, Wi-Fi performance, and internet connectivity
• Maintain accurate IT inventory, asset management records, and system documentation
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, cybersecurity standards, and data protection procedures
• Assist in managing backup systems and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity
• Coordinate IT maintenance activities and follow up with external vendors

Requirements

• Degree or vocational education in Information Technologies, Computer Programming, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT Specialist role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Experience with hotel systems (PMS, POS) is highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Proactive, team-oriented, and service-minded approach
• Good command of English is an asset
