Information Systems Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Serve as the sole ISSE on contract to ensure security systems operate efficiently and all security measures are properly implemented
• Support information security systems and implement security solutions to protect sensitive organizational data
• Collaborate with customers, vendors, management, and IT staff during creation and maintenance of cloud-based systems
• Conduct security audits to ensure systems comply with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor security systems to detect and respond to security vulnerabilities
• Track and update inventory of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and hardware
• Provide operational support, triaging and troubleshooting issues experienced by remote end users
• Develop system diagrams and senior management presentations using Visio and PowerPoint

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph
• Experience with architecture, development, implementation, and administration of cloud-based systems
• Experience with customer Information Security practices and accreditation processes
• Experience conducting security audits and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Experience documenting business rules, technical capabilities, and quality metrics
• Operational support experience including triaging and troubleshooting remote end user issues
• Experience monitoring security systems and responding to vulnerabilities
• Proficiency with Visio and PowerPoint for technical diagrams and presentations
