Information Systems Security Engineer Level 1

Responsibilities

• Perform and review technical security assessments of computing environments to identify vulnerabilities and non-compliance
• Act as a security engineering representative for the design, development, and integration of secure networking and computing environments
• Apply IA policy and procedures to design and implement secure enclave environments
• Support security planning, risk analysis, and risk management
• Identify security requirements for the proper handling of Government data
• Support the transition of systems into operations, including HPC systems and parallel file systems
• Support the enforcement of trusted relationships among external systems and architectures

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance (most recent poly within the last 7 years)
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 2
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 7 years of ISSE experience, or 11 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
