Information Systems Security Engineer 3

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security engineering representative for the design, development, and implementation of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments.
• Apply cybersecurity policies and procedures to integrate secure architectures and system components.
• Support the Government in enforcing trusted relationships among external systems and architectures.
• Lead security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management activities.
• Identify overall security requirements for the proper handling of Government data.
• Perform complex system or network designs encompassing multiple enclaves with differing classification requirements.
• Recommend system-level solutions to resolve complex security requirements.

Requirements

• 20 years of experience as an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) on programs of similar scope and complexity.
• Recent experience (within the last 5 years) with cybersecurity principles including access control, authorization, PKI, and enterprise security architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related discipline.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field (can be used to reduce the experience requirement to 18 years).
