About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and execution of first-of-a-kind, large-scale information systems architecture for national security.
- Participate in the deployment of new technologies, processes, and practices to meet mission requirements.
- Document technical efforts and system architectures to support project needs and customer success.
- Partner across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-performance, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions.
- Assist in the full lifecycle of advanced computer systems, from procurement and deployment to integration and maintenance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience.
- Experience managing Linux servers.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, routing, bonding, and firewalls.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q and SCI security clearance, which may require a polygraph examination.
- Ability to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM, with some travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing and analyzing overall architecture for internal hardware and software systems.
- Experience in hardware and software architecture solutions focused on performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Experience in integration and acceptance testing, as well as root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Security+ or higher certification.
- Active DOE Q clearance.
