About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support state-of-the-art, large-scale data centers by implementing new technologies and best practices
  • Manage data center infrastructure, including DCIM integration and reporting
  • Coordinate with customers and contractors to ensure operational success
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
  • Respond to emergencies and outages as part of an on-call rotation
  • Conduct data center tours and oversee infrastructure projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data center infrastructure or information systems
  • Proven experience maintaining data center infrastructure and collaborating with contractors
  • Must possess a DOE Q security clearance or equivalent to start
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an SCI clearance, which may require a polygraph examination
  • Ability to work onsite in Albuquerque, NM, with some travel required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data center power and cooling concepts (CDUs, CRAC units, liquid cooling)
  • Experience with Nlyte DCIM software for asset tracking and capacity planning
  • Experience in problem identification, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Experience designing mechanical and containment systems for high-density data centers
  • Experience with water treatment and filtration for closed-loop liquid cooling systems
