Information System Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement information system security policies, procedures, and standards
• Manage all aspects of RMF documentation, including updating artifacts and tracking POA&M statuses
• Ensure systems are protected from unauthorized access, misuse, or compromise
• Report to the ISSM and collaborate with System Administrators to maintain an acceptable risk posture through continuous monitoring
• Provide training to information system users and partner frequently with the program team
• Support the operation of DOD accredited information systems to meet national security objectives

Requirements

• US citizenship is required
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience
• Active DOD Top Secret security clearance
• IAM I, IATT II, or Security+ CE certification (or equivalent)
• Familiarity with US Government policies and directives including NIST 800-53, NISPOM/32 CFR, and JSIG
• Proven experience with the RMF accreditation process

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with JSIG and DAAPM/DAAG
• Experience with the DARPA ATO process
• Experience working with military, USG civilians, and DOD contractors
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies and concepts
