Information Solutions Analyst

Responsibilities

• Deliver reference support via in-person, online, and phone channels to assist users in identifying and accessing information resources.
• Process Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Document Delivery requests in accordance with service standards.
• Search for and retrieve books, journal articles, and other digital or physical materials.
• Manage user requests through Case Management Systems (CSM) and Integrated Library Systems (ILS).
• Coordinate the shipping and return of physical materials and maintain physical collections.
• Handle procurement tasks, including purchasing library materials and processing invoices.
• Prepare usage statistics and service reports to drive continuous improvement.
• Create web content, such as research guides and training notices, to support library outreach.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2 years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in Interlibrary Loan (ILL), resource sharing, and document delivery services.
• Proficiency in ILL platforms such as OCLC or DOCLINE.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Experience using repositories, publishers, and vendor platforms for searching and purchasing library materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Ex Libris platforms (ALMA and Primo).
• Experience using research tools such as Google Scholar, ResearchGate, or EndNote Click.
• Experience with library databases like JSTOR, PubMed, or ScienceDirect.
• Familiarity with corporate purchasing tools and ERP systems like SAP.
• Knowledge of copyright and library compliance matters.
• Experience with content creation using MS SharePoint.
