Information Security Specialist

Responsibilities

• Identify and investigate vulnerabilities in network infrastructure, software, and websites
• Monitor network events and logs to detect anomalies and potential threats
• Respond to security incidents, analyze software logs, and classify incidents
• Participate in penetration testing to identify and remediate system vulnerabilities
• Analyze event logs and monitoring data to detect potential threats
• Configure and implement network protection tools and technologies
• Develop and implement network protection policies and procedures
• Manage network security tools including firewalls, IPS, and VPNs

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in information security
• Deep understanding of information security, network security, and protection technologies
• Proficiency with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.)
• Experience with network devices (firewalls, routers, switches) and security software
• Knowledge of attack techniques (Phishing, Spoofing, Malware, DDoS, Injection, Web attacks)
• Experience implementing and administering network protection systems (NGFW, IDS/IPS, WAF)
• Experience with security monitoring and incident management systems (SIEM, EDR, Threat intelligence)
• Administrator-level skills with Linux and Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of security standards like ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST
