Information Security Risk Consultant - IT Audit

Responsibilities

• Lead IT security assessment projects with minimal supervision throughout the entire lifecycle.
• Develop detailed test steps and execute them in accordance with applicable frameworks.
• Provide clear testing documentation and interpret results to formulate conclusions based on control findings and root cause analysis.
• Partner with business stakeholders to present and validate IT security risks and facilitate remediation plans.
• Execute scoping, planning, and detailed testing procedures to develop final audit reports.
• Proactively develop solutions to meet customer needs and perform complex conceptual analysis on technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in IT and audit functions.
• Relevant IT certification(s) such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CIPT, CSFP, ISA, or CIA.
• Experience within the health or insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and internal control concepts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness and the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
