Information Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Design and manage awareness campaigns and training to sensitize employees
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)
• Develop security policies and standards based on recognized frameworks like ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and IT-Grundschutz
• Conduct protection requirement determinations, risk analyses, and security concepts
• Advise on the treatment of information security risks using current best practices
• Provide consultation on Business Continuity Management, including disaster recovery and emergency plans

Requirements

• Degree in STEM (ideally Computer Science) or a relevant three-year vocational training
• 2-3 years of relevant professional experience in information or IT security
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 27001, IT-Grundschutz, and Critical Infrastructure (KRITIS) standards
• Knowledge of German and European regulatory requirements (BSI Act, KRITIS Ordinance, NIS2)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and project management tools like Jira
• Native-level German and good English skills
