About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise security solutions and architectures to protect digital infrastructure.
- Administer and ensure the reliability of key security platforms, including SIEM, EDR, and privileged access management.
- Lead cross-functional security projects such as cloud security improvements and network segmentation.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for complex security incidents and provide guidance to SOC Analysts.
- Automate security operations and workflows using scripting to enhance detection and streamline response.
- Integrate security controls into enterprise systems by collaborating with Network, Cloud, and DevOps teams.
- Document architectures and procedures while mentoring team members to strengthen overall capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in IT or Information Security.
- 2+ years of experience specifically in a security engineering role.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud architectures (Azure preferred).
- Hands-on experience with security technologies including SIEM and EDR.
- Proficiency in scripting or automation using PowerShell or Python.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in specialized domains such as DevSecOps, cloud security architecture (Azure/AWS), or red-teaming.
- Familiarity with regulated industry compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR.
