Information Security Director

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the comprehensive corporate cybersecurity and information security strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the development and implementation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Design and execute the roadmap toward ISO/IEC 27001 certification.
• Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical assets, including customer data, payments, and loyalty programs.
• Oversee monitoring capabilities, vulnerability management, and incident response protocols.
• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives related to information security.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS.
• Strengthen cybersecurity awareness and culture throughout the organization.
• Manage cybersecurity vendors, tools, and partners to ensure compliance with SLAs and standards.
• Act as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on cyber risk, data protection, and secure digital transformation.
• Lead and develop the Cybersecurity and Information Security team.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Technological Risk.
• Proven experience leading corporate cybersecurity and information security programs.
• Extensive experience implementing and managing ISMS frameworks (ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, PCI DSS).
• Expertise in incident response, risk management, and business continuity.
• Experience working in digital environments, e-commerce, or high-volume transactional platforms.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and technology auditing.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in highly regulated industries or high-availability environments.
• Relevant international certifications such as CISM, CISA, CRISC, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.
