Information Security Compliance Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary regulatory liaison for Tide Risk and Compliance when interacting with Indian financial regulators such as RBI and CERT-IN.
• Own and ensure compliance with all applicable Indian regulatory requirements, including RBI Master Directions, Data Localisation, and Payment Security Standards.
• Define and enforce local information security standards specific to the Indian regulatory and operational environment.
• Lead and facilitate regulatory-specific audits in India, including the RBI Systems Audit Report (SAR) and mandated external assessments.
• Manage information security risk within the Indian context by interpreting and applying local regulatory requirements to Tide's operations.
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports on security posture, risk status, and compliance efforts to Senior Leadership and regulatory bodies.
• Proactively monitor the Indian financial sector for changing regulatory developments and advise leadership on necessary preparations.
• Operate as part of the Second Line of Defence (2LOD) to provide independent oversight of information security controls.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in information security risk and compliance, with a heavy focus on the Indian financial sector.
• Demonstrable experience interacting with Indian financial regulators and government agencies (specifically RBI and CERT-IN).
• In-depth knowledge of RBI Master Directions, data protection regulations, and payment security standards in India.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and responding to regulatory audits, particularly the RBI SAR.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with regulators and senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant professional certifications such as CISM, CISA, or CRISC.
