Information Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to security events, investigations, and incident queues
• Participate in incident response, triage, and on-call rotations for critical security events
• Use threat intelligence to proactively hunt for active threats and malicious activity
• Investigate email-based threats including phishing, business email compromise (BEC), and account takeover
• Collaborate with the team to improve SOC workflows, automation, detection, and playbooks
• Create incident reports, threat reports, and security operation documentation for stakeholders
• Support eDiscovery requests and Insider Threat investigations in collaboration with Legal, Privacy, and HR

Requirements

• BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 4 years of professional security experience
• Strong knowledge of computing systems, data network communications, and network architecture
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms and query languages (e.g., Yara-L, CQL, SPL)
• Solid understanding of network security fundamentals, NDR, intrusion detection, and malware analysis
• Experience with cyber forensics and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Scripting or programming skills in Python, PowerShell, or Go
• Experience with SOC AI workflows and detection development
