Information Review and Release Analyst

Responsibilities

• Research the substance and context of select documents to conduct first-level review of classified information
• Perform electronic and manual redactions based on EO 13526, FOIA, and the Privacy Act
• Provide rationale for redactions using legally defined exemption codes
• Provide recommendations for document release and record decisions in appropriate systems
• Identify Other Government Agency (OGA) equities for referral or coordination
• Research previous release decisions to ensure accuracy and consistency

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of experience in information security and classification
• Experience reviewing and redacting classified information within a SAR program
• Active security clearance
• Familiarity with IC, DoD, FOIA, PA, EOMDR, and EO regulations
• Experience in research and analysis using professional data management methods

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience conducting declassification reviews
• Experience as an intelligence analyst, foreign disclosure officer, or CD/CI/CT analyst
• Significant SIGNIT experience
