About the role

Responsibilities

  • Advise and assist centre users to maximise segregation and recycling
  • Redirect commercial customers and portray a positive corporate image
  • Operate the booking system across six booking sites
  • Offer information to the public to assist in efficient waste disposal
  • Assist in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site
  • Ensure waste brought onto the site is segregated for recycling
  • Adhere to Company policies including H&S, environmental, and operational requirements
  • Assist with picking and segregation of waste and cleaning of yard areas

Requirements

  • Customer service skills with willingness to assist the public
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Record keeping skills
  • Ability to deal with difficult situations
