About the role
Responsibilities
- Advise and assist centre users to maximise segregation and recycling
- Redirect commercial customers and portray a positive corporate image
- Operate the booking system across six booking sites
- Offer information to the public to assist in efficient waste disposal
- Assist in the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of the site
- Ensure waste brought onto the site is segregated for recycling
- Adhere to Company policies including H&S, environmental, and operational requirements
- Assist with picking and segregation of waste and cleaning of yard areas
Requirements
- Customer service skills with willingness to assist the public
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Record keeping skills
- Ability to deal with difficult situations
