About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the University’s Information Governance Framework, policies, and standards
- Provide practical, solutions-focused advice to staff regarding privacy, responsible information sharing, and records management
- Support Privacy, Responsible Information Sharing, and Freedom of Information (FOI) functions
- Contribute to disclosure requests, eDiscovery support, training, and awareness activities
- Assist in managing the information lifecycle to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory obligations
Requirements
- Degree in information management or a related discipline
- Substantial experience in information governance, privacy, records, or knowledge management
- Working knowledge of information governance legislation and policy, including privacy and access frameworks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong understanding and knowledge of Microsoft 365
